Jim Malone stoneware YUNOMI made in 2002 at Burnby Pottery, York. It bears the clear impressed mark for both the potter and Burnby pottery. The YUNOMI has a rib in its midriff together with impressed marks covered by a tenmoku glaze. The pot as completely without damage and has no chips, cracks or repairs.

Sancailead-glazed ceramics of the late 7th and early 8th century Chinese Tang dynasty. Yasuda’s creation is stoneware, fired in an electric kiln, rather than the earthenware of the Tang Dynasty. Takeshi Yasuda is a Japanese potter who was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1943.

About John Wheeldon John Wheeldon took up ceramics while he was studying at Wolverhampton Polytechnic from 1969 to 1971. He then applies a copper matt glaze to the lower part and gas fires it to 1000° C.
