Thank you for looking at this listing for this beautiful and. Extraordinarily large Mick Casson jug. It’s an impressive 220mm tall and 190mm wide. Stamped on the handle base as it should with Mick’s later style pottery mark. With values on the rise with Mick Casson’s work, this is a wonderful investment piece or something to add to or start a collection. I do not over-sell junk, nor make out an item to be better than it really is. I list the item based on my own observations and judgment. I don’t care if you’re a prince from somewhere I’ve never heard of, nor if you’re a deaf blind mute that cannot complete the sale in person, but will send a “courier” to finish the deal. This was an early series of vases, covered jars and other objects designed and thrown around 1960 by Edith Heath herself. This particular vase features an engobe glaze in tan with a glazed onyx interior in dark green to black. The neck of the vase is a deep blue to green. The vase is signed with the Heath and teacup mark, which is among her earliest marks. This rare vessel is hand combed and glazed to create the feel of an earthy landscape of rolling hills and golden grasses evoking the color of California’s hillsides in Summer through early Fall.
