Rarely available William Staite-Murray Studio Pottery Conical Bowl. Fabulous piece and rarely available. 10cms tall and 16cms across. Slight firing fault to rim and small scratches to the interior but this doesn’t detract and in my opinion adds to the character. Please study pictures carefully. Stunning William Marshall teapot of classic form. Fully marked with St Ives and BM personal marks. The teapot is missing it original lid but I commissioned the current Leach pottery production manager, Matt Foster to make a replacement. I like the fact that the lid was made in the same place and by the potter who now has BM’s old job. Small nibbles to the spout but good condition for its age and totally unique.

A beautiful plate by the highly sought after William’Bill’ Marshall. Lovely design – for me, it’s a kelp forest. Very good there is a slight rough area on the glaze which is barely visible to the front of the plate – this will have happened during the firing process. Marked WM to the base.
