Mizusashi (water-jar), tea equipment. Cylindrical form with lid. In good condition without any chips, cracks or repairs. Lisa’s work is very collectable and sought after. Measures 15.5cm in height and approximately 16 cm in diameter. Lisa very kindly responded stating that this was her work and that rather than incising or impressing her mark she signed it but it has been covered over by the glaze. Bless her she tried to describe where the signature was but I still couldn’t see it. I have to say that it is a very interesting piece which has caught my eye.

A genuinely superb 15.5cm tall studio pottery vase, hand made by British artist Andrew Hill. This hand-thrown vase is beautifully decorated in three parts: the interior with a stunning speckled eggshell glaze, the upper part of the exterior in a dark mottled green with a simple horizontal band, and the base is a rough-finished dark chocolate brown.
