A “duck” is a visual illusion created by how the letters R and W fuse together inside his rectangular seal stamp:The “Head and Beak”:The top loop and right leg of the uppercase R form the rounded head and the forward-pointing beak of the duck. The “Body”:The uppercase W directly beneath it creates the zigzagging chest, body, and tail feathers of the duck sitting down. This hand-built studio piece by acclaimed British master ceramicist Robin Welch is a stunning vase made from ceramic. The vase is crafted with a production style that reflects art pottery techniques, showcasing the unique and artistic talents of its creator. With its handmade quality and distinctive studio theme, this piece is sure to be a standout decorative addition to any space.
