A Vintage English Studio Pottery Ceramic Table Lamp. An Unusual & Unique design – A converted old Denby Pottery Vase. The lamp has been mounted onto a vintage black wooden base and has new brass fittings at the top. The lamp has modern earthed 3 core wiring and a modern brass earthed “safer” bulb holder – The lamp works perfectly. The lamp has a mixed and irregular glaze, gloss semi drip glaze at the top and a muted neutral pale natural colour at the base. Please see my images for the best details. Overall height is 39.5 Cm x 14.5 Cm Wide Ceramics and 13 Cm Base diameter Condition is good, the lamp works well and is free of damage. Due to the handmade nature the vase has fissures and irregularities which are part of the original design. Small signs of wear to the vintage base. Brass fittings are new. Vintage large glass vases in an amazing green colour. They have got a whitefriars look to them. Some very minor scratches to top on one side, hardly noticeable. 35 cm tall 11 cm diameter at bottom.
