This rare piece of Caroline Harvie does not come onto the market very often. This porcelain piece is inspired by early aztec pottery. Some early Aztec pottery would use shapes and lines to show movement or tell a story. What pictures do you see within the shapes and lines on this Aztec-inspired modern vase? Caroline’s works can be seen in Abberdeen city Council emuseum collection. This vase has the CMH backstamp. The size of the vase is approx. 6 across its belly. The neck is 60mm diameter, the base is also 60mm diameter.

For sale is this attractive abstract vase by noted British potter Julian King-Salter. Born in 1954, King-Salter currently lives in Staffordshire. This vase has an impressed mark which most likely dates it to the 1990s. It is a lovely piece full of colour and texture and would be a great addition to anyone’s collection of contemporary pottery. The vase stands about 5 inches tall and is about 4 1/2 inches wide at the widest point. It weighs a total of 398 grams. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks that I can see. Minor wear to the underside of the foot rim only. Please refer to photos and feel free to ask questions; I usually get back to you quickly! LORENE ADACHI #39045 STUDIO ART POTTERY SAGGAR FIRED 4 5/8 VASE 1990’s. This is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks. Very Nice Lorene Adachi Signed vase. This features the unique Saggar Firing technique that has created a glazed earthtone palette of tans, blues, peach and light and dark gray colors on the exterior and interior of this vase. The base is signed by the artist and this is dated from the 1990’s. The Saggar firing process leaves the piece porous therefore it will not hold water. This measures 4 5/8″ High x 2 7/8″ Wide rim to rim x 6 1/4 Wide at the widest point. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Saggar Fired pottery vase.
