This vintage Bullers Studio Pottery handmade vase is a unique addition to any collection. The vase features a beautiful brown, orange and cream colour palette with a crackle glaze finish. The vase is 12.5cm tall and has a diameter of 12cm. This mid-century style vase is an original, handmade piece from the United Kingdom. It is signed by Agnete Hoy and features an impressed backstamp. The vase is perfect for decorative use and is a great example of the pottery production technique. This item weighs 557g and is a great choice for anyone who appreciates vintage pottery. Diameter of the mouth – 6.5cm. Diameter of the base – 7.5cm. Very good condition with no chips or cracks evident. Some rubbing to the base ring. Very large and heavy impressive Bullers ribbed Celedon glaze hand thrown vase probably produced by Agnete Hoy for Bullers Studio Range. This example has green fading to a blueish yellow glaze, and measures approx just under 9 inches tall. It is in excellent order, free from damage or repairs, making a great statement piece on display. Bullers backstamp together with what appears to be inscribed numbers on the base.

Beautiful Agnete Hoy Celadon Green Glaze Squat Baluster Vase (Bullers Studio). Agnete Hoy was born in England in 1914 to Danish parents. At age 19, she applied to the Copenhagen College of Art and Crafts and was accepted, studying there for 3 years. After this she worked with Gerhard Nielsen at the Holbaek Pottery for a year and then moved on to working at Saxbo for Natalie Krebs. She then set up her own studio and also lectured at art colleges until the early 1990’s. She died in 2000. Her pieces have become more and more sought after, bridging between industrial ceramics and the work of the studio potters. The vase is finished in a beautiful celadon green glaze with a blush design to the front of the piece. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.
