An amazing bisque porcelain midcentury studio art pottery vase made in Germany, by Heinrich Fuchs for Hutschenreuther, circa 1960s. Vase is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or flea bites. Although please note that one corner is ever so slightly irregular compared with all the others (see main photo) but this is not very noticeable. Signed Fuchs, manufactory mark and item number. This arts and crafts style vase has an artichoke-inspired shape, with a matte ochre yellow glaze. It stands approximately 4 3/4 inches tall, and it has a maximum width of about 6 3/16 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 1 pound 14.2 ounces. This would be fine addition to a collection of arts and crafts revival pottery. Identification The base of this artichoke vase is marked with incised and impressed markings, which are covered by the original Arts & Clay Company label. The date looks to say either 2003 or 2008. Steve Frederick and Cherie Jemsek produced Jemerick Pottery in Saugerties, New York. Condition The vase looks very good overall, with no chips or cracks. It has very light wear.
