Wonderful studio pottery vase by Lyn Lovitt(b1941) with an almost Scandinavian mid century modern form and decorated with a mottled blue glaze. Impressed mark near to the base. Lyn is currently a member of the Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and before setting up her own pottery she studied at Lincoln College of Art, London’s Central School of Art and Craft and worked at Briglin pottery. This vase measures 28cm(11) in height. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
