A Pair of Antique super rare C. H Brannam of Barnstaple 1920’s Art/Deco studio Pottery Red Vase No 1178 super rare pair of RED C. H Brannam studio pottery art deco red vases made by Brannam’s and possibly for the first production vases for Liberty & Co, London, The condition is equally stunning with nothing to detract from its beauty. There is no related crazing to the glaze, just some small wear on the handles which I’ve taken pictures of but I don’t think this is damaged. This is just the way they’ve been made and glazed over so this would be part of the process more photos on request if needed. But apart from that no cracks no crazing just stunning, The vase stands at 8.5 inches and is a really striking piece of art deco studio pottery history, Price reflects rarity and condition. If you know you know and you will not be disappointed, not just stunning but a piece of history and very rare to see any of CH Brannam pottery in RED.

Rare opportunity to own a fantastic piece of 1907 British Studio Art Pottery. Large fish mouth jug from the renowned studio of Charles Hubert Brannam in Barnstaple, North Devon. Designed by John Dewdney (see marks JD) who was employed by Charles Brannam In 1881. The jug itself is green with a relief pattern of a leaping fish highlighted in sumptuous blues, creams, oranges and browns. Standing 13″ tall (33cm) and approx 9″ wide (23cm), it is perfect apart from a hairline firing crack in the top of the fish mouth spout (see photo). Marks underneath include JD, Brannam and Barum with a date of 1907. There is a signature/mark on the green glaze underneath the fish.
