Trevor Corser studio pottery vase, produced during his time working at Leach Pottery, St Ives. This hand-thrown stoneware vase features a rich, dark iron glaze with characteristic brown and amber mottling around the shoulder and rim. The form and glaze are typical of Corser’s work from the late 1960s-1970s. The base is impressed with the TC monogram and part of the Leach Pottery stamp, confirming its origin. A strong, tactile example with excellent presence. Maker: Trevor Corser (Leach Pottery, St Ives). Condition: Very good vintage condition; minor kiln marks consistent with handmade studio pottery. No chips, cracks or evidence of restoration. A highly collectible example of British studio pottery.

This specific vase is a trial piece, designed between 2004 / 2010 Designed by Emma Bossoms, this Short-lived, artistic brand allowed Moorcroft designers to experiment with more contemporary and sometimes more exotic palates.

Vintage Troika Cornwall studio pottery small cube vase / pot. A moulded ceramic piece with textured decoration to the top and hand-painted marks to the base reading “Troika Cornwall” along with the decorator initials “PB”, attributed to Troika decorator Penny Black. Troika pottery was produced in Cornwall between 1962 and 1983 and is well known for its distinctive modernist designs and textured finishes. Each piece was moulded but individually decorated, making examples slightly unique. Good vintage condition with age-related wear. Please see photos for overall condition. This sculptural vase features a rich oxblood red upper glaze flowing into layered tones of black, ash grey, and earthy ochre toward the foot. The surface shows classic Black Ryden characteristics, with subtle glaze breaks and kiln-driven movement creating depth and visual tension. The form is confident and architectural, rising from a flared base to a rounded shoulder and narrow neck. The base is clearly signed and marked, confirming authenticity. A striking hand-thrown studio pottery bowl by Anita Harris, finished in her celebrated Black Ryden glaze. The piece features a rich oxblood red body layered with smoky black and ash-cream breaks, with subtle blue pooling at the rim. The glaze has real depth and movement, changing with the light and giving the surface a volcanic, almost geological quality. Thrown with assurance and fired in reduction, this bowl balances strength with refinement. It is signed to the base AH, numbered 62, and bears the impressed ANITA HARRIS / ENGLAND mark.
