Heath Ceramics Bulb Vase #131, Rare Seasonal “Mars” Red / Green Glaze! Measures 3.5″ tall x 5″ wide. Simply gorgeous layered and textural glaze. Absolutely pristine – there are a couple microscopic tiny marks that were extremely difficult to photograph; these are less than 1 mm and can’t be seen unless at the exact right angle. It was described that this special glaze technique has intentional variations; each piece is 100% unique and a mark of the maker. Heath Ceramics’ special technique “Mars” glaze is where high-contrast glazes are layered and twice-fired to form a subtle wave pattern. The result is a wave-like pattern of green and fiery orange thats swirling and dynamic. This seasons color story speaks to our point of view on summera bright, cheerful palette punctuated by a vibrating, intense focal point of contrasting colors. Will be packed with care.
