Here we have a fab piece of studio pottery. I like to display it on its side where it looks like an abstract hedgehog sculpture. Whatever it is, its really different and I really like it. It has a nice design with incised/cut out geometric shapes and an engraved scraffito like pattern which I love. I would imagine this dates from the 60’s or 70’s. This would make a great addition to any mid century inspired home – a perfect curiosity to display on a sideboard or shelf. It measures approximately 11.25 inches by 7.25 inches by 5.5 inches weighing just under 3kg’s. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Extra big J B Cole 3 ring handle floor vase that was made by Cole, circa 1950-60. This large porch vase is glazed in green malachite. Stunning example of the glaze. The vase is 12″ tall by about 10″ in diameter. Condition is excellent with no damages or any repairs. Shown in North Carolina Art pottery book 2003 and Catalogue J. Cole’s Pottery Steeds, N.
