A nice quality and rarely offered Alan Wallwork stoneware combed crescent studio pottery form with his classic combed decoration to both sides. All-over buff and rubbed brown glaze. “AW” initials incised into the base. Approx height 23cm (9 inches) and width 32cm (12.5 inches). The golf ball and wine bottle in picture 2 are a general size guide. Condition: Excellent overall condition with no damage or restoration. Photographs are of the actual item for sale. Stoneware bowl covered with green ash glaze with incised & combed decoration by Phil Rogers. 21 cm diameter 6 cm in height. The bowl is free from damage and has no chips, cracks, repairs or renovation. Very clear, impressed mark for Phil Rogers just above the foot ring as shown in photograph.

This was an early series of vases, covered jars and other objects designed and thrown around 1960 by Edith Heath herself. This particular vase features an engobe glaze in tan with a glazed onyx interior in dark green to black. The neck of the vase is a deep blue to green.
