Chris was born in 1960. In his early years as a potter he worked with Edmund de Waal. There are many who fell Chris’ work surpassed that of de Waal and he id now very highly esteemed and his work sought after by ceramics collectors. Three exquisite Limoges porcelain beakers in fine condition with no cracks, chips or restoration. The exterior is of dark gloss tenmoku glaze and the interior a superb limpid green celadon. On the side of each beaker there is a raised moulded crescent detail. They are each c 10.5cms in height.

Impressed marks to upper body. Studied at Wenford Bridge Pottery and apprenticed to Bernard Leach in St. Lifelong friend of Warren Mackenzie often working in partnership. Uncommon and quite rare stand alone piece from this respected and sought after artist. Squat bulbous bottle shape with side spout. Very pleasing tactile form. Very slight signs of age and wear.
