Offering this MCM Robert Maxwell-David Cressey for Earthgender original signed pottery vase with incised sgraffito throughout the body. It is in excellent condition and has no issues. Height is 7 3/8 inches, the top is 2 1/8 inches wide and it is 3 1/4 inches wide at the bottom. I pack items with care but when the carrier takes possession, I cant guarantee safety. Tall, elegant bud/weed vase by iconic mid-century California potter Robert Maxwell. Executed and hand signed to the base by the artist. This is NOT a mass-produced production piece, but rather an important, one-of-a-kind original created by the hands of Mr. Maxwell himself — a rare piece of California pottery history. Done in the “EARTHGENDER” style, which was an architectural pottery collaboration between Robert Maxwell and David Cressey in the 1960’s. There’s also a black reference number on bottom, which is probably an exhibition or personal reference number for the artist. In excellent original condition, with no issues to report.
