Here I have for sale a hand crafted glazed coffee set. Consisting of 6 cups, 6 saucers, milk jug, sugar bowl, coffee pot, all in excellent condition no chips cracks or crazing, please note this is a used item the saucers have slight scuffs due to the unglazed cups resting on them which is shown in the photograph. Approximate size coffee pot. 23cm spout to handle.

The cup feature a classic waisted design throughout, Tenmoku glaze in browns & russets. Four of the cups bear David Leach’s personal DL seal marks. One is slightly indistinct. One mark on base and 3 on sides. Two cups bear the Lowerdown L+ marks on the sides. Size – 4 to 4 1/4inch (Height – variation due to the nature of being hand thrown). Janet Leach for Leach pottery Saki bottle and 3 sake cups. The two cups were slightly different sizes but similar in style. My suggestion is that the cups may have been made and fired at different times hence their slightly different sizes. They are all of the same design. All four of the pieces offered for sale bear the Janet Leach impressed stamp and the St Ives Leach pottery mark. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or other damage to any of the four pieces. Vintage Crowan Harry and May Davis assorted pottery inc’ super Tea pot, cups etc. An assortment, a few minor chips to a couple of items – some glaze loss in the bowl, a small chip on the Jam pot lid, a small chip on one of the set of 3 plates and a small chip on dark numbered plate other wise great original condition. The Tea pot, very scarce and hard to find has the tiniest chip on the spout. Please study the pictures well. There are 5 tea cups, one Tea pot, 3 saucers, 3 side plates jam pot with lid, 2 mid size plates, 2 other highly decorative large plates, 3 large plates and a wonderful small vase. Separate items of Harry and May Davis pottery sells for a great deal so I think this price is fair.
