Debbie Kahn Scribble Fish Pottery Vase. Blue Glazed Scrafitto Hand Made Studio Ceramic. This beautiful pottery vase is made by Debbie Kahn in her famous Scribble Fish pattern. She worked on Cape Cod, MA, in Provincetown, and few visitors in the 1970s and 1980s could resist bringing home her charming works. You can see that it was hand coiled and formed of a brick red clay and covered in a swirly blue glaze over the scrafitto drawn fish and stars. It is signed on the bottom. Deborah Sheila “Debbie” (Muskat) Kahn was a very colorful character and a fixture in the Provincetown art and coffeehouse scene.. In 1969 she was one of the founders of the health-food restaurant To Be. She lived in Israel From 1986 to1994 and passed away in Camp Verde, AZ in 2005. See photos for measurements.

Stunning Cornish studio pottery twin handled pot by Debbie Prosser. Hand painted with birds of prey perched in a tree and a mouse amongst lush foliage. Beautifully glazed in rich deep greens, brown and black. Internally glazed with makers mark to base. Measurements: 14cm in height, 12cm wide, 12cm depth.
