This Bruce Chivers Studio Pottery Vase from Devon features a speckled design in multi-coloured hues, showcasing a mid-century modern style. Handmade from clay, it stands at a height of 12.5cm with a 14.0cm diameter. The vase is signed by the artist and bears an impressed backstamp, reflecting its original production in the late 20th century in the United Kingdom. With a glazed finish, this studio pottery piece exudes artistry and craftsmanship, making it a unique addition to any decor. Diameter of the mouth – 7.0cm. Diameter of the 5.4cm. Very good condition with no chips or cracks evident. There are a couple of glaze drips. Where possible, we always try to combine multiple items, if safe to do so. COLLECTION ONLY FROM KENT, THANET AREA. RARE VINTAGE WILL YOUNG DEVON RUNNAFORD POTTERY ALL 8 CHARACTERS AND HORSE. IT MEASURES APPROX 10 1/2″ BY 4 “. IT MEASURES APPROX 6 HIGH. TWO FIGURES ON FRONT OF HORSE HAVE ONE FOOT MISSING, ONE FIGURE AT BACK RESTUCK. ARM RESTUCK ON FIGURE AT BACK.. MAYBE END OF SCARF ON FRONT FIGURE MISSING, NOT SURE…. OTHERWISE IT APPEARS TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CRACKS, CHIPS, OR RESTORATIONS. THERE IS NO OTHER APPARENT DAMAGE. PLEASE IGNORE ANY LIGHT REFLECTION. THERE’S MINOR GENERAL CRAZING. FULLY BACKSTAMPED ON THE UNDERSIDE. IT’S A GREAT LOT THAT WILL ENHANCE ANY GOOD DEVON WARE COLLECTION. THERE ARE SIZE AND WEIGHT LIMITS SO PLEASE CONTACT FOR COMBINED P&P CHARGES.

Antique/art nouveau Devon studio/art pottery – threee-handled flower pot. Impressed marks on base. MADE FOR LIBERTY & CO (in a rectangle). C H BRANNAM, BARUM, N. I think date of production: between1905 and 1920. Pot shape features in advertisement:’Yule Tide Gifts Barum Wear – an English Pottery, Liberty & Co, Regent St, London 1900 – 1910′. My last photo shows picture of this advert – the page in my book on Devon art pottery by Audrey Edgeler. Rich, glossy glaze which is graduated blue to green representing the colours of the sea. Single fish design, and 3 swirled handles. Bowl shaped pot with small pedestal and straight rim. H: 6 (15 cm). Diam: (without handles) 6 or 15 cm. Condition is very good. I have checked carefully and I can only see one tiny flake on rim’at back’ – see photo. I also mention, to be exact, the’back’ handle has slight (firing) gap in the centre of the swirl – see photo.
