Katherine Pleydell-Bouverie small dark olive ash glaze octagonal stoneware faceted vase. The depth of colour is superb. Produced by a revered potter whose work is highly collectible. Impressed KPB mark as photographed. The glaze note in ink on the base I believe is XO. Undamaged and free from any chips, cracks or repairs. 4.5 cm tall and approximately 5 cm facet to facet across the’rim’. Weight 64 grams I will identify that the vase itself is darker in colour than it appears in the photographs probably caused by the light. Thank you for looking at my items.

The vase is free from damage with no chips, cracks, repairs or renovation BUT there is a chip on the base ring (as photographed) caused probably during production but cannot be seen when displayed AND there is no impressed potters mark. Presumably covered by the glaze. 17.5 cm high. Approx 13.5 cm width around the middle.

William’Bill’ Marshall stoneware yunomi with Impressed Decoration. The item is without chips, cracks or repair and is in good condition. It bears the impressed WM mark for Bill Marshall together the Leach pottery St Ives impressed mark. Stands 10 cm in height & 8 cm rim diameter. Faceted pot with umber glaze. That is no longer the case. The cost will vary from country to country from courier to courier and will depend upon weight and size of the parcel when packed. A fairly rare faceted studio pottery vase in the early Chinese manner by leading British potter Malcolm Pepper. Stoneware (I believe, rather than porcelain). Thrown and faceted form with applied lugs. Brushed red copper floral decoration over a crackled cream semi-matt glaze. Excellent condition, as new. Unmarked, as is the case with a fair amount of Pepper’s work (apparently he took to marking his pots at the end of his career after a curator complained that they were being mistaken for antique Chinese examples, which, while a problem, also seems like a fairly high compliment). Dimensions (approximate): 18cm x 15cm x 15cm. A lovely quality vase and a very good example of Pepper’s work. Malcolm Pepper was a very highly regarded potter of the post-war period, primarily producing works heavily inspired by Song Dynasty Chinese ceramics. Tragically, he suffered an early death in the 1980s, cutting off a flourishing and highly-regarded career just as he was receiving significant gallery attention. Marked with his stamp mark as shown. 4 inches, the top is 3 1/2 inches wide, the base is approx. 3 inches wide and it is approx. 4 1/4 wide at the widest. Offering this Warren Mackenzie large matte gray faceted pottery vase with textured surface decoration, from a private collection. It is in excellent as made condition and has no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a partial glaze miss on the inside as shown. 11 1/2 inches high, 3 3/4 inches wide on top and approx. 4 12 inches wide at the widest. Marked with his personal stamp mark as shown.
