A very good Martin Bros oviform jug. Incised with decorations of two finches sitting in a blossoming tree, picked out in white. Incised to the base’Martin Bros, London & Southall, 5-84. No chips or scratches. No cracks (hasn’t been checked with a black light). Some variation in tone of the brown ground and places in need of a gentle clean.
