For sale is a stunning premium vintage midcentury possibly West German studio art pottery vase. This piece features a distinct squat, four sided bulbous form resting elegantly on Four small corner feet. This vase features a spectacular multitoned glaze design. A rich, glossy turquoise and ocean blue ground is beautifully overlaid with sponged rust Brown/earth tones. Crucially, the shoulders feature rare, hand painted cream slip trail relief spiral decorations. The underside features hand incised markings etched directly into the raw clay prior to firing. The design/model shape number 16 is clearly incised in the centre. A cursive studio monogram/artist initial (resembling a stylised cursive S is located just below the number). Height: 4.5 inches approximately. The condition is excellent, collector grade vintage condition there are no chips, cracks, hairline fractures that I can see. A beautifully preserved pristine example.

Trevor Corser studio pottery vase, produced during his time working at Leach Pottery, St Ives. This hand-thrown stoneware vase features a rich, dark iron glaze with characteristic brown and amber mottling around the shoulder and rim. The form and glaze are typical of Corser’s work from the late 1960s-1970s. The base is impressed with the TC monogram and part of the Leach Pottery stamp, confirming its origin. A strong, tactile example with excellent presence. Maker: Trevor Corser (Leach Pottery, St Ives). Condition: Very good vintage condition; minor kiln marks consistent with handmade studio pottery. No chips, cracks or evidence of restoration. A highly collectible example of British studio pottery.

Stunning Mike Dodd studio pottery lidded storage jar with incised pattern. Mike Dodd famously experiments with all sorts of ingredients for his glazes. Not sure what this is excactly but it has a pale grey/blue colour. Sadly he no longer pots so his stoneware will gradually become increasingly sort after in the coming years. In perfect condition Height approx 21cm x 18cm in width.

Vintage / Possibly Antique Chinese Style Hulu Double Gourd Vase – Orange & Green Drip Glaze Pottery A beautiful and unusual hulu-form double-gourd vase with a warm orange/brown glaze and green drip-glaze details running down the body. The shape is inspired by the traditional Chinese Hulu / Wu Lou gourd form, which is associated with good fortune, health, prosperity and positive meaning in Chinese culture. This is a very decorative piece with a lovely organic glaze pattern. The colouring is especially attractive, with earthy orange tones, green glaze runs and a soft aged surface.
