A Good Sized Duncan Ross Burnished Vase. A hand built early Duncan Ross burnished vase of swollen form with a flared rim. Older style incised mark to base. Approx 22cm (8.5 inches) tall and 20cm (8 inches) wide at the mouth. The vase is larger than it may appear, so I have shown it in the last two pictures against a very large 15 inch Maltby cup and a 6 inch Ross vase to give you an idea of overall size. These, of course, are not part of the sale. In generally very good overall condition with no chips or restoration. I can see some insignificant tiny scratches here and there, but mainly three which are approx 1.5cm long on one side of the main bulb. I have zoomed in on these on picture 4. Pictures are of the actual item for sale. Of course, if you prefer you may also opt for cash on collection.
