This substantial studio piece features Grayshott’s distinctive layered blue glaze, with subtle tonal variation and gentle oxide movement that gives depth and surface interest. The tall, tapering form is balanced by two lug-style handles at the rim, giving the vase strong sculptural presence. Inside, wheel-throwing rings remain clearly visible, confirming genuine studio production.
