This Signed Michael & Barbara Hawkins Studio Art Pottery Large Swan Jug / Pitcher is in very good used condition with NO chips or cracks. It stands 31.5cm tall and is 20.5cm in diameter at its widest. Colours may be slightly different due to camera flash. Signed on the side of the jug towards the base, please see photos. A lovely studio pottery tall and elegant vase, hand-painted with slightly abstract poppies, made by Barbara and Michael Hawkins of Port Isaac Pottery. Monogram near base of vase. In good condition – no chips or cracks. Please look closely at the photographs. Items over 2kg will be sent either by Parcelforce 48, UPS or DPD. Large MICHAEL HAWKINS studio pottery vase of baluster form, with sgraffito decoration and impressed maker’s mark to base. Grey ground with red poppies flowers and trailing grey stems. A beautiful vase and definitely a statement piece. Height – 43 cm x 29 cm (approximately) diameter. Michael Hawkins was born in 1950 and trained as a potter at Redruth School of Art. He was a ceramics technician in Art Schools for 6 years before setting up his own workshop in 1976. Please note that the items I sell are antique/vintage and by their nature may show signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
