Trevor Corser studio pottery vase, produced during his time working at Leach Pottery, St Ives. This hand-thrown stoneware vase features a rich, dark iron glaze with characteristic brown and amber mottling around the shoulder and rim. The form and glaze are typical of Corser’s work from the late 1960s-1970s. The base is impressed with the TC monogram and part of the Leach Pottery stamp, confirming its origin. A strong, tactile example with excellent presence. Maker: Trevor Corser (Leach Pottery, St Ives). Condition: Very good vintage condition; minor kiln marks consistent with handmade studio pottery. No chips, cracks or evidence of restoration. A highly collectible example of British studio pottery.

Substantial piece of hand made studio pottery by the renown Bernard Rooke, created mid century in the Brutalist period this heavy piece can be used as a vase but its wonderful architectual style could be a stand – alone piece. Standing 10 1/4 inches high and measuring approximately 5 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches at the top and 6 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches at the base this piece is in great original condition.

An Abdo Nagi studio pottery deep, glossy and footed bowl covered in a mottled cyan blue in various shades. Applied Lucie Rie inspired drizzled bronze rim. Impressed mark to the underside rim and little round sticker stating 1999 as the year of production. Approx height 21cm and width 18cm. The bottle in the initial picture 3 is a general size guide. Condition: The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. No internal or external scratches as it has never been used, just displayed. Photographs are of the actual item for sale. Will be despatched safely double-boxed and usually within 24 hours.

This is a beautiful and unique mid-century Raku vase from an individual Western studio pottery. It is signed (as can be seen in the photos). Such wonderful glazing finishes were adopted from the original Japanese pottery craft dating back centuries. The incredible finished glaze is produced by a complicated second slip glazing technique. Every finished Raku piece is entirely unique.
