This is a beautiful and unique mid-century Raku vase from an individual Western studio pottery. It is signed (as can be seen in the photos). Such wonderful glazing finishes were adopted from the original Japanese pottery craft dating back centuries. The incredible finished glaze is produced by a complicated second slip glazing technique. Every finished Raku piece is entirely unique.

This is a RARE and very large (monumental some may say) vase. The vase is 28.25″ tall (almost 2.5 feet) and 6.75″ in diameter. Signed on the bottom, ” FAIRMAN 02″. Comes with the original artist bio paper as well as the attached original receipt from 20 years ago. As with all items, the vase will be packed very carefully. Multiple layers of small and thick bible wrap will be used on the vase.
