A really nice big Karen Karnes vase, measuring roughly 11″ x 11″. Lots of creative twists went into this, like the slightly flattened panels on two sides of the neck, and the triangular glaze spot on the underside, and the incredible finger tooled ridges. Signed with her KK mark, and there’s an old applied piece of cork adhered to the bottom. This piece has been well cared for over the years. Will require a slightly oversized box. Vintage, Mid-Century Modern, Eames Era, Studio Pottery, Craft Movement, lidded pot / bowl / vase, designed and thrown by studio pottery master Karen Karnes. SIGNED WITH INITIALS ON BOTTOM EDGE : KK, and marked flameproof (see image). SIZE: 8 1/2 tall; 11 diameter at widest. No damage, repairs, chips or cracks. There is some slight staining on underside that I have not tried to remove (see image). Very nice, very presentable and ready for use. Please be patient with difficult to package items.
