John Leach Muchelney Studio Pottery Stoneware Black Mood Jug. Saggar fired with sawdust, which is what gives the paler, contrasting colour. 14cm tall and 30cm in circumference at its widest point. Muchelney stamp, John’s personal stamp and dated to base 1990. The contrast between the two colours is dependent on the chemical reaction during firing. Approximately 15cm in height and 12 cm in diameter at its midriff. The base has the impressed makers mark of Muchelney Pottery and John Leach’s own impressed mark. It also has the number’89’ which presumably relates to the year 1989. Undamaged and free from any chips, cracks or repairs. The cost will vary from country to country from courier to courier and will depend upon weight and size of the parcel when packed.
