Gorgeous vase by Steve Frederick of Jemerick Pottery. Signed SF 1999 on bottom. In the late’90s-00s, the potter was inspired by early 1900s Grueby pottery to create pieces of the same aesthetic and attention to craft. This resembles a nearly closed bud or water lily, punctuated by light green tear drop seed shapes. From every angle this piece is beautiful to view. Stable and straight of posture. Mottled eggshell glaze of medium green over a celery green, with speckled tones of teal and petrol. Measures 3.125″ tall X 4″ wide with 1 opening. Note: final photos show where I have traced the extant signature and date, barely seeable in other photos. Beautiful piece of early 20th Century Art/Studio pottery,’Soon’ range by well known potter Reginald Wells. This small vase has a thick, drippy turquoise glaze with some dark iron glazed areas; it was made c. The Vase measures just under 3.5 high. The Vase is in very good condition with no damage or repairs and is marked’SOON’ on the base. Once I know you’ve got it and are happy, I will leave feedback.
