Robert Held is an accomplished glass artist known for his vintage, one-of-a-kind, handblown decorative items. The vase features an amber or gold iridescent color with distinct red or purple wavy lines. It exhibits a frosted or sandblasted finish, common in some art glass pieces. Vintage retro 1960s 1970s, rare design and sought after Italian designer red orange glazed futuristic design abstract modernist studio pottery bowl vase worth the original sticker. Made by BERTONCELLO CERAMICHE SCHIAVON. Really fabulous unusual show price centre item that stands out. THERE IS A HAIRLINE MARK ON THE INSIDE I HAVE PHOTOGRAPHED THIS ITS VERY TINY AND NOT VERY NOTICEABLE BUT IT IS THERE. PLEASE HOWEVER MAKE YOUR OWN ASSESSMENTS OF THE ITEM FROM STUDYING THE PHOTOS. Preowned may show some signs of wear threw age however, no major chips, mostly in very good condition i found a tiny hair line in the centre, not noticeable on display what’s so ever but wanted to mention it. A free-lancing artist, she worked in the Gorka workshop in verõce until 1959, and in her own studio since then. The source of her art is nature, her typical objects are large asymmetrical vessels, idols, fish, birds, stones. She adopted the pre-wheel archaic technique of working in clay. Creates unique artefacts, prefers series and groups of objects. Makes high-fired items of her own clay bodies, often stoneware. She uses oxide-glaze, combines clay with metals frequently. The palette of her works of powerful plasticity is reserved. Member ot the Association of Hungarian Artist (1956), The Hungarian Art Fund later MAOE (1955) and IAC, Genf.
