A stunning two-piece studio pottery vase, an exclusive design by T. Entirely handcrafted, this unique piece depicts a soaring eagle above a forest, clutching a fish in it’s claws. The base glazed in earthy tones of brown and green; the top in blue; the eagle finial glazed in brown with detailed carvings. The base is signed by T. Wilson and dated 1976. Condition report: Very good overall, with just a handful of minor cosmetic chips to the edges of the trees on the base. Collection from Padiham BB12.

This rare stoneware vase will make a great interior design piece of large pottery. In a oriental style hand painted pattern. It looks like it is made by. Sue Todd Kiln Lodge Studio Pottery. Please look at pottery of a similar pattern on the internet in photos 11 & 12. Low reserve to start. Can anyone confirm this for me please? Approx Height 14 1/2 37cms. X Width 6 (15cms).
