Please see the photos for what’s included in this listing This is a medium size, unique, handcrafted vase in reasonable condition. As per the photos, the vase has two small cracks near the top, which as these are under the glaze, must have occurred during firing. These are relatively small and don’t affect the integrity of the vase, which is otherwise in very good condition. This has come direct from the pottery and was a studio piece. If you need more time, I’m happy to accommodate, within reason, but please reach out to me as soon as possible so I know what to expect. A fine contemporary studio pottery porcelain vase by Emily Myers. Elegant tall ovoid form in a soft celadon/turquoise glaze with distinctive horizontal and diagonal linear decoration in darker tones. The surface has a subtle matt-to-satin quality typical of her barium glazes. The style is reminiscent of pieces created in 2015 and displayed on her website. Impressed potter’s mark to the base. Emily Myers is a Crafts Council selected maker and Fellow of the Craft Potters Association. She is known for her precise thrown and carved vessels in both porcelain and red stoneware. Of good scale compared to most commercially available, with larger porcelain pieces rare on the second hand market. Size – 23 cm Tall, 10.5 cm diameter at its widest point. Weight – 565 g. No chips, cracks or restoration. Clean and ready to display. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description. A very attractive example of her work.
