This lovely 15 piece studio pottery coffee set was produced by Marcus (Marc) Goldberger who started Prima pottery in Folkestone Kent in 1967. This is handmade from natural red English clay with the base left unglazed to show to the material and character. This is becoming more and more popular and collectable. All 15 pieces are in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks. A must for any studio pottery collector.

Marcus Goldberger Huge Studio Pottery Owl Prima Pottery Folkestone Vintage. Excellent condition with no damage chips or cracks to note, superb rare example in this large size at 26 cm high and weighing appropriately 3.3 kilograms. Wooden hand is life-size and just used to help gauge the size. A beautifully hand thrown piece of Studio Pottery by Marcus Goldberger. Signed to the base by the Potter himself with the Prima Pottery Folkestone stamp also present. Superb statement piece, the best one I’ve seen with beautiful glaze colours. The only minor issue i can find is a small drop of white paint to the interior, otherwise as stated in excellent condition, one for the collector. Due to the large size this will be well wrapped and sent using Parcel Force 48 or alternatively collection in person is welcome also. All items packed with extra care and extra wrapping. More vintage Studio pottery and Mid Century ceramics to be listed asap as I’m undergoing a big clearout so please check my other listings if interested.
