Bears Robin Welch impressed mark on the base as photographed. Very well respected and collected potter who passed away in 2019. In good condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. This is a fantastic and very large studio pottery sculpture by Robin Welch. It is most unusual to get an object made by him other than a bowl or a vase. This piece has its original marble foot too. Both pieces are fully signed. It has superb form and textural glaze. It measures 53.5cm tall and is in very good condition.
