Bjorn Wiinblad design in his ever-popular series of Oriental motifs for Rosenthal Studio Linie. This celadon colour vase is in Samuramat decor using the Quatre Couleurs gilding technique. Samumarat or Semiramis was a regent of Assyria between 811 and 808 BC. The design is decorated with gold & silver. The vase is marked on the base with the Rosenthal, Germany mark in green and the Bjorn Wiinblad signature. Numbers 17 & 5 also marked to base. 36 cm high x 8.25 cm diameter.
