Soda fired 6 vase. Has beautiful flashing from the Kiln with some crackling in the glaze. Has cool 70s vibes. Stoneware cone 10 high fire. This Vase was glazed in teadust and the soda kiln created the effects. This is a handmade studio pottery vase made by Lin Kensington in the 70s style. The vase is 6 inches tall and width 5 inches. It is signed by the artist and features an all-over brown color with a lead-free glaze finish. The vase has a unique arts and crafts/mission style and is an original piece. The production technique used is pottery, and the vase is part of the Soda Wood Fired Pottery product line.

Ruthanne Tudball Soda Glazed Studio Pottery Yunomi Drinking Vessel. A very stylish studio pottery soda glazed Yunomi with ribbed patterning by renowned potter Ruthanne Tudball British, b. 1948 dating from the 20. The hand-built stoneware drinking vessel stands in a narrow rounded foot with a cylindrical shaped body with a slightly pinched top edge and with ribbed designs to the body. The Yunomi is decorated with slip and is fired with sodium vapour glazing adding richness of colour and emphasizing the marks and rhythms of making. In tones of orange and grey with yellow streaked glazes the Yunomi has an impressed makers seal mark to the foot rim. A beautiful Black soda glazed vase showing all the uniqueness of the superb pottery of the inestimable Ruthanne Tudball. The slightly squared vase is 19 cms high, 10 cms wide at the base. A combed surface, and altered shape gives all the unique quality of a Ruthanne Tudball vase. A bLACK gloss glaze shading into dark blue in areas. Seven different sides and the decoration make it a fascinating piece, Four small legs which makes it stand slightly higher than the surface. No chips or scratches.
