Thomas Fetter Studio Pottery Vase… Mcm squat art pottery vase, green and brown striped measuring. Fetter apprenticed in California with Lindley Mixon before setting up his studio in Pennsylvania. He is best known for his work in stoneware. Exhibited at the Nationals in 1962 and 1964.

Stunning Studio Pottery Gourd Shaped Squat Vase – Signed. Beautiful studio pottery decorative vase in blues, greens and browns. Incised lines running vertically down the vessel give a lovely ripe feel to the piece, reminiscent of a pumpkin or swollen gourd. I can’t identify the maker’s signature which looks like possibly a C with a line down to form a T. It also has three raised dots around it and 2 short raised lines inside the dots. If anyone can help identify this piece I would be greatful thank you! Measures approx 7″ tall and 8″ in diameter. Beautiful Agnete Hoy Celadon Green Glaze Squat Baluster Vase (Bullers Studio). Agnete Hoy was born in England in 1914 to Danish parents. At age 19, she applied to the Copenhagen College of Art and Crafts and was accepted, studying there for 3 years. After this she worked with Gerhard Nielsen at the Holbaek Pottery for a year and then moved on to working at Saxbo for Natalie Krebs. She then set up her own studio and also lectured at art colleges until the early 1990’s. She died in 2000. Her pieces have become more and more sought after, bridging between industrial ceramics and the work of the studio potters. The vase is finished in a beautiful celadon green glaze with a blush design to the front of the piece. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Offered is a Hyalyn P-14 Pebble Finish Capri Shape Tan Green Squat 6 Vase. This Signed beauty has a very Unique finish. I thought it was from the Basketry line but it doesn’t match that finish. The shape is similar to the Capri line 6 squat vase. I haven’t found any example of the finish so please ask questions or if you can ID it I would really appreciate any help you may provide. It’s in excellent condition with no apparent damage. The speckles look like they were hand applied and there are underlying horizontal and vertical incised lines. It has a rough feel to it as no finishing glaze was applied after the pebbles were applied and heated.
