The vase has a beautiful organic wabi-sabi aesthetic with natural firing variation and textured surface. Signed to the base with an impressed kanji-style mark. A striking large stoneware vase by potter and artist Bernard Irwin b. Decorated with textured panels in muted earthy tones in blues, green and brown. Measures:39cm H x 13cm (base) x 10xcm (top). Condition: There is a small flake about halfway down on the edge (please see in photos). Otherwise in really excellent condition. I have another size vase by Bernard Irwin – see my listings.
