Stunning pottery bust of a woman by an unknown artist. The piece is really well observed and the use of glaze to highlight the clothes whilst leaving the face and neck unglazed works really well. The artist has used great skill in creating the form using the simplest of detail. It was probably made mid 20th century and it does have a makers mark. In perfect condition it stands 18cm tall.
