Anthony Theakston is one of the U. S leading contemporary bronze and ceramic sculptors. Anthony studied ceramic design at both Cardiff and Bristol and he has lectured at Camberwell College of arts and crafts amongst other institutions. His work is widely acclaimed and collected. Many of Anthony’s distinctive designs, concentrate on the bird form. This blue speckled, salt glaze jug, height 11cm, length14cm, weight 150g is both decorative and functional. It is a most elegant piece of art pottery, reminiscent of the art deco style. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or renovations.
