Leach studio pottery Vase. The vase is a cut sided vase with 13 sides. It is stoneware with a very clear Leach pottery mark. It weighs 3128 grams and measures 23 cms in height and 19 cms in’diameter’. There is no way of conclusively identifying who made the vase other than to say it was made by someone at the Leach studio. It has never featured as standard ware in any of the old catalogues but it would appear that the Leach pottery has been producing these biscuit barrels in different sizes with different glazes. Different coloured glazes are used. The vase has no cracks, chips or restoration but there are some minor firing faults caused by either glaze bubbles or small particles in the clay. I have photographed the ones I can see but in reality it is in good condition. The cost will vary from country to country from courier to courier and will depend upon weight and size of the parcel when packed. Thank you for looking at my items which will be updated regularly.
