Robert Arneson Stoneware Tree Bud Vase California Funk Pottery
Here is a wonderful studio pottery expressionist tree vase by well known California “father of funk” potter, Robert Arneson. This wheel thrown and hand built pot measures 8″ tall x 6″ wide. It has a blue glazed top with a small bud opening at top. The base is wheel thrown and covered in a brown glaze. It is clearly signed on the exterior near foot. It does have a couple tiny edge flakes to the textured top, but only noticeable upon close inspection. Otherwise excellent condition with no other damage or repairs.
