This is a gorgeous and rare Art Pottery Vase. Measures: 7-3/8″ tall by about 6-1/4″ wide over all size…. 3-1/2″ wide at top rim and 4-1/2″ wide at bottom. This is signed on the bottom “Vibert” by Denis Vibert. Well known potter who worked for Pine Tree Kilns in Sullivan Maine. This would have been made around c. 1950’s and the artist has since passed away. His pieces have been displayed throughout museums and displayed at exhibitions. His works are highly collectible today.. This is actually a pretty good size vase by this Artist, in fact it’s the largest vase I have seen in this matte blue speckle color glaze made by Vibert. This color is popular and can be found on items ranging from dishes, to flower frogs, to vases and lamps, etc. But this size and shape with its rich color makes it a special piece by the master himself. Condition: In good condition, no chips or cracks or glaze issues. This comes from a high end collection of Art pottery and has been well taken care of over the years.
