This wonderful vase is a modern work of art made at Pooles Quayside Studio by master potter Alan White. A unique one off piece, it is finished with very thick reactive glazes which give it a wonderfully tactile texture and features an abstract Poppy Field design similar to the Iris series that Janice Tchalenko created at Poole a few years ago. It is 7 (17.5cm) tall, 4.25 (10.5cm) diameter at the top and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. This superb piece would grace any collection or make a lovely gift.
