Postmodern Ceramic Vase by Fujimori for Kato Kogei
A large ceramic vase in the Japanese Contemporary pattern for Kato Kogei’s Fujimori Collection. Fujimori was born in Japan in 1935 and won the National Art Award when he was just 19. He later worked in Chicago as a ceramics designer before returning to Japan in 1963. As Art Director for Kato Kogei Ceramics, he oversaw the design and distribution of his signature line.
