A stunning Mid century Studio Pottery Vase Raku Fired Black & White 20th C Ilona Sulikova? A stunning vase Raku fired black & white ceramic studio pottery vase in a long rolled shape decorated with a swirling geometric rectangular pattern. Item Condition : The vase has no cracks and is. T is in its original condition outside with Raku black not homogenous as seen in the pictures probably from firing especially on the down part. Ictures are also part of the description. It is a very nice long vase with a very stylish shape that will look great in a modern house. 20th Century Period in the style of Ilona Sulikova and could be one of her early work, found in a estate sale of a collector of pottery. Height 29cm tall or 11.5” diameter of the opening is 8 cm or 3.2” if the outside rolled part is added the size from one part to the other on top is 11cm or 4.25′. Ilona Sulikova is originally from Czechoslovakia, has travelled extensively, and now lives in York England. Her current work is influenced by hand-building techniques she learned in Africa coupled with painting elaborate geometric patterns with dry copper glaze.
