Considered by Bernard Leach to be one of the finest potters of his generation, Kenneth Quick sadly died aged 32 in Japan whilst studying with Hamada. Pieces by this accomplished potter are rare. The vase is formed with slightly flattened sides with incised wheat ear decoration to front and back and finished in an olive ash glaze. 17.0cm tall x 16.0cm diameter.
