A rare and impressive vintage circa 1970’s Nikos Dazelidis art pottery ewer / vase in the Mid 20th Century Modern / Brutalist / Fat Lava style. Fantastic abstract sculptural shape with aperture in the manner of Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Georges Jouve, P icasso etc. In matt off white glaze with brownish mottled applied finish and green and brown hand painted detailing to the rim and aperture. Signed to base by artist. In very good used vintage condition with no issues. A striking statement piece for the Mid 20th Century modernist or Scandinavian styled home or modern ceramics collector. 19 cm (7.5″) high, 26cm (10.25″) long.
